It is already within you – a deep internal resource available and patiently waiting to be reawakened and used in the service of learning, growing, and healing.
Mindfulness cultivates non-judgemental awareness of each and every moment that we live. It supports us in living consciously and with attention to whatever arises in our lives, the world around us, in our bodies and in our minds. Mindfulness encourages us to cultivate a compassionate relationship towards ourselves, and in so doing, to bring this approach to our relationships with others. Beneficiaries: those who are stressed, with medical conditions, psychological distress and those using the programme for prevention and wellness all report general well-being and an ability to live more peacefully. Benefits: Participants report increased energy and enthusiasm, greater ability to relax, growing self-confidence and an ability to handle stressful situations with growing ease. MBSR cultivates harmony, balance and living with awareness.
