IYT Course Information - Next Course: Sept 2014 - Nov 2016

The Integrated Yoga Therapy course is unique, having been developed as a practical qualification premised on an understanding of 'how yoga really works', at the centre of which is helping the patient, while integrating yoga therapy into an actual western context. Upon qualifying as Integrated Yoga Therapists, students are eligible for the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council Register.

The materials below apply to the current course and should address most questions around content, dates, delivery, student outputs, and costs. The Student Guide and testimonials are also available. Multiple delivery methods function to ensure that there is sufficient contact time for practical work, retreat time for immersion in practices, as well as audio and video delivery both for new presentations and teachings, and revisiting material. For dates and delivery formats, please see IYT delivery structure. For an idea of what we do on course, and an idea of the concept of this course, please see How IYT Works. Course costs are contained in IYT Course Fees. The IYT Prospectus provides background information.
The Ayurveda Living Well Programme is a required part of this programme as is mindfulness training. The Ayurvedic Diet and Lifestyle Therapist training is optional.
IYT Reading List 2013 highlights key readings alongside the yoga classics.
Profiles of IYT Graduates will be listed at a later time to indicate mentor options.
